In early fall 2024, I began developing a hard-sided hunting blind and stands for outdoor enthusiasts. Through discussions with hunters, fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and business professionals, I identified a clear set of features and requirements designed to distinguish Ascension Hunting Blinds from other manufacturers on the market.

Many hunting blind manufacturers in this segment fell short in key areas of performance and quality. With more than 30 years of design engineering and manufacturing experience, I was surprised by the widely accepted designs, material choices, and low-quality feel of many competing products. If I am paying a premium price for a hunting blind, I expect premium quality in return.

Many competing blinds offer poor insulation, limited durability, weak weather resistance, subpar aesthetics, mediocre fit and finish, and few standard features. I set out to design and build a product that meets the highest standards in each of these areas. My goal was not simply to create another hard-sided hunting blind, but to develop the best that clearly outperforms comparable products on the market.

To raise the standard for what customers should expect.

The days of accepting subpar performance in materials, durability, weather resistance, aesthetics, and quality are over.  Hunters deserve more!
